ABALONE CUP

        The Abalone Cup Women’s Soccer Classic is a women's tournament, limited to 36 teams. This all-women's event in for HS/OpenComp/OpenRec/Over30/Over40 divisions. The tournament utilizes high quality referees and excellent fields to play on.

    We are located in Fort Bragg, Ca., 3.5 hours travel from San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. It’s a great vacation get-away, as Fort Bragg is situated on the beautiful Mendocino Coast, walking distance to Glass Beach and many other popular beaches and vistas with beautiful whitewater views. Check the home page (link on the left) for live cam views of the ocean. The weather in August is always ideal for soccer, averaging high 60's-low 70's, never too hot.

    The town is blessed with many excellent all-weather soccer fields in close proximity to each other and near all the hotels, rental homes, and wonderful bed and breakfast inns. This is a tourist destination and all the motels and hotels are great—some have their own beach access--and most are very reasonably priced. The tournament coordinator will gladly recommend lodging if asked.
