October is usually our BEST weather of the year,
But we play rain or shine, have no fear!
No deadlines–applications are accepted until divisions are full.
People say we are the most organized, and the funnest and best bonding experience their teams had all year!
ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT: This tournament has been around since 2003 and is one of three events that the tournament director Tess organizes annually. She is highly experienced, having organized various sports tournaments for adults and youth since 1980. The weather on the Mendocino Coast is always perfect for soccer–never too hot. The beaches are both scenic and fun, and the majestic redwood forest makes a wonderful scenic backdrop to the city.
The coast boasts an incredible variety of recreation and unique shopping opportunities. There are no box stores in this area–shopping is an adventure and all stores are unique. There are many fun things to do while you are here, including indoor waterslides. Click for a link to see what’s happening.
GENERAL: Tournament applications are accepted annually on a first-come, first-served basis until divisions are filled. If two applications are tied on date, priority goes to teams with families with siblings on accepted teams, teams from under-represented districts, and returning teams. Please make a note of special considerations on your application or cover letter.
All applications received will be acknowledged asap. The first round of official acceptance/rejection notices are sent after Memorial Day weekend, then new applicants usually hear within a week of application receipt date (all via email). Game schedules are emailed and posted on this website no later than two weeks before the tournament.
