FORT BRAGG HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER

Fort Bragg High School has its highest sport participation in its soccer programs. Approximately 35 girls tryout for soccer annually. The junior varsity program usually welcomes all girls with athletic ability regardless of previous soccer experience. Even girls who have played competitive soccer find the JV experience to be a time of bonding, learning, skill-building, and a successful way to start their high school years in sports with more flexibility than varsity. The Ft Bragg JV girls are always tops in their division.

The FB girls varsity is a combination of experienced competitive players and recreational players that have learned to play as a team, and have the skills necessary to play at the full competitive level.

	Coach Tess has completed advanced coaching courses and attended many workshops both as a coach and a player. She specializes in teaching and demonstrating foot control for shooting and passing, as well as teamwork and game strategy. She brings with her a wide network of specialty coaches for workshops and camps.
	Asst. Coach Robert Alcala and JV Coach Katie Faucher both play soccer and also have had many years of coaching successful youth competitive and recreational teams.
