The youth league here on the Mendocino Coast is called the Coast Youth Soccer League, or CYSL. About 500 children, aged 5-16 play in the fall. Practices are held in Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Elk, and Comptche. Games are held on Saturdays in Fort Bragg. The youth soccer season runs from the second weekend of September until mid-November.
