GENERAL: Tournament applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, starting May 1 (teams can mail/email applications earlier, but no application is considered until May 1). If two applications are tied on date, priority will go to teams with families with siblings on accepted teams, teams from under-represented districts, and returning teams. Please note any such special considerations on your application or cover letter.
This tournament accepts applications until flights are full, which may be before or after the CYSA reporting deadline in June. The first round of acceptance/rejection notices are sent after Memorial Day weekend, then new applicants usually hear within a week of application receipt date (all via email). Game schedules are emailed and posted on this website by July 30th.
FEES: The entry fee of $575 is payable to the Skunk Classic. Emailed applications are accepted, pending payment within one week of applying. Upon non-payment, waiting list teams become eligible to take the place of accepted teams.
All rejected teams will receive a full refund. Any team withdrawing after official notification of acceptance will forfeit the entry fee if there is no team on the waiting list willing to take their place. Applications should be sent to:
